May Art Exhibit -- Natural Harmony, water colors by Mayda Asfour
Mayda Asfour grew up in Beirut, Lebanon, and lived through the drama of the war and social upheaval of the region. In her early twenties she moved to Paris, France, where the beauty of the city inspired her to study architecture. The splendor of that city’s architecture and the surrounding nature connected to create a magical place that fed Mayda’s love for nature. When she moved to New England with her family, the changing of the seasons and the coastal landscape became her new inspirations. more
The artist's reception will be on Saturday, May 19 at 3 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room.
